The Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) invites you to join our Webinar Series: Adult Healing to Wellness Courts. From January 6-9, 2026, TLPI will host daily 90-minute webinars, beginning at 9:00 AM AKT / 10:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM MT / 12:00 PM CT / 1:00 PM ET.

These webinars will address pertinent topics related to Healing to Wellness Courts, including judicial leadership, participant referral insights, the integration of cultural elements into treatment, and effective strategies for designing an innovative and successful wellness court model.

Webinar Description: This presentation offers an overview of the Tribal Law and Policy Institute’s publication, Tribal Judicial Leadership in Healing to Wellness Courts (2023). It examines the multifaceted responsibilities faced by Judges serving as Healing to Wellness Team Leaders. The Judge is tasked with engaging actively with team members and participants while also ensuring the sustainability of the Wellness Court within the Judicial Branch. This webinar will emphasize the Judge’s responsibilities and facilitate a discussion among participants regarding the cultural aspects of leadership, framed through the lens of traditional storytelling.
