Request Technical Assistance

The Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) works under a Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) grant program to provide Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) to Tribal Healing to Wellness (Drug) Courts, including adult criminal court, juvenile delinquency court, family dependency courts, veterans courts, and DUI/DWI courts.

Our training and technical assistance is customized for each court and community, and can range from simple resources and sample documents to ongoing conference calls to onsite technical assistance visits.

The Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) offers training and technical assistance at no-cost, for tribes seeking to implement or enhance their Healing to Wellness Court. TLPI offers both off-site (phone, email, mail) and on-site technical assistance. If you and your team are facing a legal question, need assistance in drafting or updating your Policies and Procedures, struggling with team dynamics, require training in a particular field, require community presentations regarding Healing to Wellness Court, or any number of other Healing to Wellness Court questions/issues, feel free to request technical assistance.
